Based out of beautiful Topanga, CA (on the Western edge of LA), Sarah teaches out of her home studio and YogaWorks in Woodland Hills as well as other Westside LA/SF Valley YogaWorks locations. She has practiced yoga since childhood and has published a book on chakras and yoga, Balancing The Wheels. With two RYT 500 certificates, (ISHTA Yoga with Alan Finger, and most recently at YogaWorks with Olivia Barry) she also holds certificates in prenatal yoga, water yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and in Yin Yoga with founder Paulie Zink and has backgrounds in Ashtanga, Sivananda, Iyengar, and Jivamukti (with David Life and Sharon Gannon in New York City). She has a led a number of yoga retreats in the US and in Costa Rica. Her style of teaching is alignment-based, spiritual, and deep. She is warm and encouraging, and loves to share her passion for the benefits and joy of yoga in life as well as in class. She is trained in Reiki and Tarot and gives unique Chakra Counselings as well as being the mother of two daughters, two cats, and a dog who have all practiced yoga with her starting prenatal!

Chakra Yoga-A slow flow, deep alignment Hatha Yoga class that focuses on a different Chakra/body part each week, building strength and flexibility.
Zoom Yoga-*Coming soon! -a Chakra Yoga “Hybrid” class shared with other distant students on Zoom.
Gentle Yoga/Meditation-come for just one or both! The first hour is a mostly seated, deep stretch class and the last half hour is Pranayama (breath-work) and guided meditation (suitable for beginners as well as practitioners).
Privates-available per request during blank times on the schedule
includes individualized yoga plan, meditations, breathwork, tarot work, and/or lifestyle/nutrition counseling to balance your personal chakra constitution.

Sarah wrote Balancing The Wheels as a gift to her students (and fellow teachers) to augment her chakra yoga classes with reading at home. The book is meant to provide a tangible and practical experience of using chakras in daily life to feel better.
